The 2008 ICJ Canada Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, August 18, from 3:00 to 5:30 in Room 202 at the Convention Centre in Quebec City. This meeting marks the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Canadian Section of the International Commission of Jurists as Canada’s first human rights NGO focused on promoting and maintaining the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary on a global level. The meeting will include commemoration of ICJ Canada’s anniversary, as well as the address of the 2008 Tarnopolsky recipient, and the regular business meeting.
