On 2 and 3 December 2008, the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) will hold its World Congress in Geneva, Switzerland.

The theme of the Congress will be the Judiciary in Times of Crisis. The event will bring together ICJ Commissioners, Honarary Members, National Sections, and Affiliate Organisations.

By this notice the Secretariat invites all ICJ Commissioners, Honarary Members, National Sections and Affiliate Organisations to attend the Congress and asks them to save the date. In the coming weeks the Secretariat will be in contact with all ICJ Commissioners, Honarary Members, National Sections and Affiliate Organisations in relation to attendance at the Congress.

A small amount of financial assistance will be made available to help some members of the Network travel to the Congress, in particular members of the Network from the Global South. Unfortunately assistance cannot be provided in every case.
